Grand Master Choa Kok Sui is a modern day renaissance man and spiritual guru to thousands. Acknowledged as one of the greatest masters of energy healing in our time, Master Choa Kok Sui was born on August 15, 1952 in Cebu, Philippines and raised in a multi-faith environment.

Albeit a trained Chemical Engineer and successful businessman, he spent more than 30 years researching and studying literature on esoteric sciences, and examining their various healing techniques. Master Choa Kok Sui recognized that the applications of energy using Prana or Vital Life Force may be employed to change physical, emotional, mental & spiritual conditions. This led to the development of Pranic Healing as it is widely known today.

Modern Pranic Healing as a science was born in late 1987, with the publication of Master Choa’s book, “The Ancient Science and Art of Pranic Healing”. The uniqueness of Master was his ability to present abstract and complex concepts in an easy to understand and practical manner. He achieved this by connecting spiritual practices from different cultures and synthesizing them into one stream of study. Some people call him "the Scientist of the Soul".

The Arhatic Yoga program was devised by Master Choa for seekers on the spiritual path. The fantastic synthesis of various yoga practices introduces the spiritual disciple to a banquet of methods devised to safely accelerate spiritual growth. For Master, Spirituality was for all people and he emphasized on the fact that "Truth is Universal".

For 20 years, Master Choa traveled virtually non-stop, personally instructing students in over 60 countries on 6 continents. Before his passing on March 19, 2007, Master Choa finished 25 books published in more than 30 languages, and saw more than 100 Pranic Healing Centers established in over 90 countries, The philanthropic arm of the organization, the MCKS Charitable Foundation runs feeding programs in various countries, funds medical assistance for poor patients and contributes to disaster relief all over the world.
